    Israeli Agritech
Israel is a world leader in innovative agricultural technologies, despite the fact that the geography of Israel is not naturally conducive to agriculture.  A small country with severe water shortages and little arable land, from Israel's earliest days, the country had to develop creative technologies to increase yields.
By becoming a leader in irrigation, water reuse, improved crop varieties, smart agriculture and post-harvest care, Israel has managed to increase its yields by 16 times over the past 60 years.
Today, Israel continues to be one of the leading sources of agricultural technology to the world. The Israeli agritech scene is dominated by small companies and ambitious entrepreneurs who are able to thrive in Israel's fertile innovation ecosystem - ranked by Bloomberg as the 5th most innovative country in the world.
