    1. HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY, Seychelles!

    Seychelles marked its 45th Independence Anniversary on June 29. 
    The beautiful island nation has made great strides - especially concerning the Blue Economy, Climate Change mitigation, and Marine conservation. We salute you and wish you continued prosperity.

    2. Israel partners with Uganda by donating face masks, Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), temperature guns among others. This is part of Israel-Uganda ongoing health cooperation via MASHAV.

     
     
    3. June 30 was the closing ceremony of the scriptwriting mentorship program. This programme was organized courtesy of Kenya Film Commission and Embassy of Israel in Nairobi. Two scriptwriters – Keith Ndenga and Hazel Nyokabi graduated after a thorough script writing season at the Sam Spiegel Film School in Jerusalem. 

     
     
    4. July 5 in 1976, the smiles of the hostages rescued by Israel Defense Forces in the heroic operation Entebbe said it all: We shall not give in to terrorism! Thank you to all our friends in East Africa and Kenya that played a vital role in this audacious rescue operation.

     
     
    5. “From Israel to Kenya with love” - People Daily Online​ published an article about Israel Deputy Ambassador Eyal David, who is completing his three-years tour of duty in Kenya. 
    - From the incredible landscapes, amazing safari opportunities, fantastic hiking and world-class beaches, the country seems to always leave a delightful taste in the mouth of many foreigners who visit for entertainment, diplomacy or work.
