We wish you a meaningful Yom Kippur (Day Of Atonement)!
Today is the eve of the holiest, most important day of the year in Judaism Yom Kippur (Day Of Atonement)! On this day Jews traditionally are fasting, praying, follow asceticism and wearing white clothing.
“For on this day He will forgive you, to purify you, that you be cleansed from all your sins before G‑d” (Leviticus 16:30).
For nearly twenty-six hours—from several minutes before sunset on October 4 to after nightfall on October 5 — Jews abstain from food and drink, do not wash or anoint our bodies, do not wear leather footwear, and abstain from marital relations. For those who observing Yom Kippur we wish “Have an easy fast.” For those who are not fasting, but are observing the Yom Kippur, - “Have a good holy day.”
