The Hazelnuts are three “sisters” with a unique musical phenomenon in the Israeli music scene-sweeping large and varied audiences with their performance.
In the spirit of feminist sisterhood, their union has proven to be wonderful and rewarding. The women lead the band in full partnership, like sisters, companions and colleagues, professionally managing themselves in all aspects.
The three “sisters”, Shira Carmel, Yifeat Ziv and Anat Moshkovski are accompanied by their vintage band; Yuval on the Guitar, Menachem on Bass, Haim on the drums and Eli on the trumpet.
The Hazelnuts are in Kenya for the Safaricom Jazz Festival, but will also perform for different audiences like at the Rescue Dada Centre, an institute that salvages street girls and rehabilitates them back to society.
