  •

The Director of MASHAV’s Training Department, Ambassador Mattanya Cohen, attended the festive closing ceremony, which took place at the International Institute of Leadership, in charge of the professional program.

Crime is a phenomenon that grows every day. Society, in general, and organizations involved in eradicating crime in particular, are constantly looking for new ways to tackle this problem. In Israel there is a highly involved and committed volunteering service. Recognizing its importance, the Israeli police had built and created cooperation models with the citizens.

These models were showcased during the professional training program as case studies in situ, with the goal of presenting, through observation and analysis, different models of communitarian participation and involvement, which are managed and executed by the Israeli Police.
