Israel is returning to the African Union

    1. Israel is returning to the African Union as an observer State, after 19 years. 

    2. A delegation of 10 Ambassadors to the UN and to the US, including the Ambassador of Kenya to the UN, arrived for a weeklong tour in Israel to boost bilateral relations with Israel and promote a clearer understanding of Israel’s confrontation with terror organizations. 


    3. Ambassador Oded Joseph:
    - Proud of these young brains who trained in Israel in the 11-month program in agriculture Arava International Center for Agricultural Training and MASHAV (Israel's Agency for International Development Cooperation), who are putting their training into good use. Next step: getting partners on board to graduate them into agri-prenuers in our food security cooperation with Kenya.


    4. Deputy Ambassador Eyal David participated in a virtual health dialogue between The Ministries of Health in Seychelles and Israel. 
    Among the matters discussed were the #COVID19 pandemic, postgraduate medical training and more. Grateful for the deepening cooperation also in the Health sector 


    5. Ambassador Oded Joseph congratulated Muslims:
    - May Allah bless our Muslim brothers and sisters in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Malawi, and Seychelles with health and happiness and wished them  peaceful festivities as they  marked Eid Al-Adha.


    6. Israel celebrated Tu B`Av - 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗝𝗲𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲, from way back in history. @IsraelinKenya shared with our followers a video with amazing couples from the Embassy.
