@IsraelinKenya together with members of
Nairobi Hebrew Congregation (NHC) marked Israel Memorial Day in honor of the 24,213 fallen soldiers and 4,255 victims of terror since Israel's founding (1948).
In memory of all the fallen soldiers, the ceremony participants lowered the flag of Israel, lit a torch, and laid wreaths, after the Rabbi of NHC Netanel Kaszovitz read the prayer.
The ceremony was led by Chief Administrative Officer & Consul of ISrael Embassy in Nairobi Maayan Chen Almagor.
Memorial speeches were made by the spouse of H.E. Amb.
@LotemMichael Yahel Margovsky and Deputy Ambassador Dvora Dorsman together with other participants.
