Israel Donates Books to Moi Girls School Nairobi

H.E. Noah Gal Gendler delivered a donation of books worth Ksh 2million, to Moi Nairobi Girls School.Following the fire tragedy in the school early September, the Embassy which has a harmonious partnership with the school, has deemed it fit to replenish their books stock, many of which were destroyed by the fire.
Speaking during the donation, H.E. Gal Gendler said the donation was a gesture towards elevating the spirits of the students following an arson attack that claimed nine lives early last month.
Speaking at the same forum, the school Principal Jael Mureithi said the donation was a powerful encouragement to the girls following the fire incident that shattered the confidence and the lives of the students left behind.
“This donation from the Israeli government is very crucial especially from the time of the fire incident, it is a great encouragement to the girls and we are very grateful,” said Mureithi.
H.E. Gal Gendler, also planted a tree, an indication of Israel’s support in the conservation of the environment.
