Eye from Zion an Israeli NGO, conducted a free eye medical camp for one week at the Chuka District Hospital.

The camp saw Israeli opticians and surgeons treat over 1000 patients in their humanitarian duty of eye treatment.

Eye from Zion was established by Israeli Businessman Nati Marcus, in 2007 to give free medical assistance to whoever needs it by sending medical teams and equipment anywhere they are needed on earth.
Israeli Ambassador Noah Gal Gendler and Tharaka Nithi Governor, Muthomi Njuki, lauded this noble project.
This is the sixth time Eye from Zion is holding an eye camp in the Hospital.
