    ​- A peace treaty between the two countries will be signed in Washington in a few weeks.

     

    - This historic agreement is an important and significant step that will serve to advance security and stability throughout the region; it is an opportunity that will serve to advance other agreements with other Arab countries.  It establishes a future of peace and prosperity for generations to come.

     

    - The peace agreement between Israel and the UAE will include the mutual opening of embassies, direct flights and many other agreements.

     

     

    - The two countries will further strengthen their relations in a number of areas, including the economy, medicine, science, technology, culture and tourism.

     

    - The agreement marks the third formal peace agreement between Israel and an Arab nation. Israel and Egypt signed the first peace treaty in 1979. 15 years later, in 1994, a peace agreement was signed with Jordan. The agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, announced Thursday by U.S. President Donald Trump, was reportedly reached in exchange for the Hebrew state's abandonment of its controversial plans to annex parts of the West Bank.

     

     

    - With this agreement, the UAE will be the first Gulf state and the third Arab country to maintain full diplomatic relations with Israel, after Egypt and Jordan.

     

    - The community leader said the number of Jews in the UAE now exceeds 1,500.

     

    - The announcement of an agreement to normalize relations between Israel and the UAE has sparked a social networking craze, with the Facebook group "Dubai for Israeli Travelers" growing from some 400 subscribers to more than 3,000 in four days.​
