Nadine Boakye is the Political Affairs Officer at the Consulate General of Israel to the Southwest United States. This position operates as the liaison between the Consulate General of Israel to the Southwest United States and all local, state, and federal government offices in the five-state region. It is responsible for communicating the Israeli government’s official policy and serve as a resource for elected officials and their staff for information and communication.
She brings to the Consulate a background in program management, community relations, and public policy with a focus on issues related to economic development.
Prior to serving as Political Affairs Officer, she was program manager at the Office of Small Business and Entrepreneurship where she assisted in developing, managing and coordinating the state’s overall small and microbusiness development efforts. She also promoted the administration’s priorities in innovation and job creation through partnership building, program initiatives, and legislation. Additionally, Boakye worked in the private sector on economic development initiatives in West Africa.
She is a graduate of Fordham University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology with a Minor in African American studies.
