Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Israel in 1993, we have witnessed a blooming partnership between the two countries in all spheres, from political alliance, trade, agriculture to technology, education and culture.  Considering culture is an ideal bridge to connect people to people, Embassy of Israel always places great emphasis on extending wide ranges of art exchanges and activities in Vietnam, including film festivals, exhibitions, contemporary dance, gastronomy and music.

The Embassy of Israel in Vietnam is very delighted for our first time to participate in Monsoon Music Festival. On the night of 12/11, we bring to Monsoon the Israeli top notch electronic music band Garden City Movement(GCM). Being formed in 2014, GCM is an indie pop band based in Tel Aviv, Israel. The band includes Roi Avital (Vocal, Keyboards, Guitar), Joe Joe Saar (Guitar, Sampler, Keyboards) and Johnny Sharoni (Vocals, Sampler, Percussion). With a versatile range of performing genres, GCM is an outstanding representative from Israel which seamlessly brings together contemporary and traditional influences of music.

After 3 years with 3 successful multiple-day events, Monsoon music festival has gradually become the ultimate icon of the city of Hanoi, which represents the modern and sophisticated young generations. This year, Monsoon Music Festival will continue to bring a tempting music playground with unique experiences, various genres and extensive hours of live stage performances from both nationally and internationally well-established artists as well as up-and-coming ones.
