Knowing that Quang Binh province had been suffering from the flood last October, the Embassy of Israel decided to continue its regular humanitarian activities at Dong Hoa Primary School at Tuyen Hoa district, which was one of the most heavily damaged ones during the flood.
It was deeply flooded, the windows were broken, a block of four classes was badly damaged, the entire roof collapsed, and the electrical systems were completely burned. After the flood, the district was mobilizing forces to clean up the school and made the temporary columns to the ceiling so that the students can study. Being aware of the danger of young students studying under such condition, the Embassy of Israel decided to finance all repair work to the classrooms.
In addition, the Israeli Embassy also donated 5 computers to the IT room and a bookshelf of around 500 books from Alphabooks and Kim Dong publishing house.
