At Vietnam Development Forum 2017 (VDF) with the theme of "leveraging productivity growth for sustainable development", Mr. Amnon Ofen, director of NaanDanJain, Israeli agricultural and irrigation expert, delivered a speech on "producing more with less". Mr. Amnon shared Israeli practical experiences on how to make higher yield in agriculture and proposed specific solutions to improve production value and quality of agricultural products in Vietnam.
"We should establish training centers as well as R&D units for advanced agricultural technology, adopt incentives for new agricultural technologies, accurate agricultural development and automation, build large-scale regional integration agricultural projects", he said.
The forum was chaired by Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
