The Economic and Trade Office, Embassy of Israel in Vietnam, in cooperation with with the Representative office of the Ministry of Science and Technology in Ho Chi Minh City, organized a Seminar on Israel’s Water and Environmental Technologies & Opportunities of Cooperation with Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City, on 29 February 2012.

At the Seminar, Israeli experts in water and environmental technologies offered suitable energy-saving solutions which were environment-friendly and appropriate for Vietnam’s conditions. This is a good opportunity for companies and enterprises in both countries to explore further potentials in cooperation and transferring of technology.

Besides, the delegation met with Dong Nai People’s Committee, relevant departments as well as companies in the province working in the area of Water management and Environment, enterprises and companies in the South of Vietnam working in Water management such as: Saigon Water Company, Dong Nai Water Supply and Sewage Company, Tin Nghia Corporation, Water Sewage Corporation and others.
Mr. Hezi Bilik, Chief Engineer, Unit for Regulation of Water Corporations, Israel Water Authority shared Israel's newest innovations in the field of water treatment at the Seminar. He also held talks with University students on the topic of water technology.
