To celebrate 70th Independence Day of the State of Israel and 25 anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Israel and Vietnam, the Embassy of Israel brought to Star Galaxy Hanoi the special performance of Noa, an Israeli singer with an angelic voice and magnetic stage presence, in the evening of April 28, 2018.
H.E. Nadav Eshcar, Ambassador of the State of Israel to Vietnam shared at the ceremony: "25 years ago, Israel and Vietnam established their diplomatic ties. Ever-since, the relations had steadily developed, and especially over the last decade. I am very pleased to say that the relations between our two countries are more flourishing and thriving than ever.
From the Government of Vietnam, H.E. Chu Ngoc Anh, Minister of Science and Technology attended the ceremony and shared: We are delighted to witness the positive development of our two countries’ friendship and multifaceted cooperation in the past 25 years, which makes Israel one of Vietnam's key partners in the Middle East. On this occasion, I would like to reaffirm the desire of the Vietnamese Government and people to strengthen and further promote our good relations.
Achinoam Nini (known also as Noa) is Israel's leading international singer/songwriter. She is the Israel's first Good Will Ambassador for the FAO. Noa wrote lyrics to and recorded the hugely successful theme song for the Academy Award winning film “La vita è bella” (Life is beautiful).
