Up to now, Nguyen Dinh Chieu is the very first and the only school in Vietnam integrating blind children with normal students. At this moment, there are 154 visual- impaired children out of total 1200 students at school. In the meeting with school leaders, Ambassador expressed her deep concern to blind children and support on the integration model.
The Embassy team visited facilities equipped for visual- impaired students such as classrooms, dormitories, galleries, etc. The blind children also welcomed the Embassy by an unique traditional music performances.
