At the invitation of General Tran Dai Quang, Minister of Public Security, a senior delegation of Israeli Ministry of Public Security led by Lieutenant General Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch paid an official visit to Vietnam from February 20 to 25.
On the February 24 afternoon, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Public Security, L.G.Yitzhak Aharonovitch had a friendly and open talk with General Tran Dai Quang, At the talk, two sides agreed on assessment of world and regional situation related to the assurance of national security, social order and safety in each country. They also expressed their hope to continue strengthening cooperation in security, criminal prevention and the judiciary,etc.
Earlier,from 21 to 23 February, the delegation of Israeli Ministry of Public Security had worked with the Supreme People's Procuracy of Vietnam, the National Committee for Search and Rescue and a number of competent authorities under the Vietnam Ministry of Public Security.
