    The Embassy of Israel introduced exquisite fashion collections designed by Israeli designers at VIFW, April 2018 in Ho Chi Minh City. The Israeli shows were co-sponsored by the Embassy and ALMA, a tourism and resorts company. That was the second year on a row that Israel participates.
     
    Last year, the Embassy of Israel chose to present one of the most promising design schools in Israel - Shenkar - at VIFW, which won the hearts of Vietnamese fashion fans by its unique and creative designs. This year, we decided to show another progress by bringing 3 emerging Israeli designers Dana Cohen, Hili Ari, and Idan Laroz for two different shows at VIFW 2018. All three designers demonstrating their collection this year participated in the Tel Aviv Fashion Week 2018 and received wonderful reviews. Each one of them brought along with a stunning collection with his/her own signature.
     
    Ambassador of  Israel to Vietnam, Mr. Nadav Eshcar said, “This year Israel and Vietnam marks a significant milestone and a special year for the countries as they celebrate 25 years of diplomatic relations. In the past few years we are witnessing a growing partnership between the countries in all layers: governmental, business to business, and most importantly people to people. This is the reason why we chose to participate for the second time in VIFW, to expose Vietnamese friends to some of the creativity spirit that Israeli designers hold, and to get inspired by the creativity of Vietnamese designer.”
