At the event, Ambassador Meirav Shahar conveyed Israeli President Shimon Peres’ message to the Vietnamese State and people, saying Israel highly values bilateral relations with Vietnam and will continue making every effort to expand the relationship.
Shahar said that the embassy will work closely with other authorised agencies to organise more cultural and diplomatic events in 2013, marking 20 years of diplomatic ties.
Speaking at the event, Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Quan recalled the Israeli President’s visit to Vietnam in November 2011, considering it an important factor in intensifying the two countries’ multi-faceted cooperation
The program took place in the vibrant atmosphere, singers of Vietnam and Israel performed many songs praising love, human-being and motherland. Representatives toasted to wish further development for the friendship between the two countries in various fields.
