In the Sunday afternoon of 24/11/2013, at the invitation of the Israeli Embassy in Vietnam, Mika Sharon, the worldwide famous Israeli chef held a voluntary cooking class for the students in difficulties of Hoa Sua vocational school in Hanoi.
Mika Sharon has gained her reputation in America and all over the world. She now owns a series of restaurants in downtown of New York (USA) and Tel-Aviv (Israel). Mika is also a familiar face on TV through the cookery programs the author of best-selling cookery book in Israel and America. She has the honor to be the Chef of Madonna's events and shows. The Chef has participated in numerous culinary events in major cities such as Berlin, London, Zurich, New York, etc. Also, Mika volunteered to cook and teach cooking for homeless communities, hospitals and orphanages all over the world.
During her visit to Vietnam this time, Mika had 2-hour cooking class with the students in difficulties of Hoa Sua vocational school. She introduced the students special dishes with unique recipes of Israel. This activity is a part of the efforts of the Israeli Embassy in Vietnam to help the Vietnamese friends understand more about the diverse culinary traditions of Israel as well as to enhance the cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the field of culture.
