The number of Agriculture senior students selected to join internship programs in Israel in 2014 reached 785, a recorded number.
During the 11-month course, the interns will be introduced to advanced models of Israeli agriculture and other business subjects. Besides lectures, the students will have chance to work directly in the field to access the application of technology and advanced management methods in agriculture of Israel.
By this method, the student may receive minimum wage of USD 1000/ month after all deductions such as housing, taxes. There are four enrollment center receiving Vietnamese students including AICAT Arava, Ramat Negev, Negev and Agrostudies.
This program has been received President Simon Peres's special attention after his visit to Vietnam in 2011. Under the coordination of MASHAV, nearly 2,000 Vietnamese students have been trained in Israel in the field of agriculture in the past 9 years, not including 2014.
