On March 1st 2016, Ambassador of Israel to Vietnam Meirav Eilon Shahar paid a visit to Ha Tinh and had a meeting with Secretary of Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of People's Committee of Ha Tinh Province, Mr Le Dinh Son and other provincial leaders .
The Ambassador expressed her impression on Ha Tinh's recet achivements, especially the project on high-technology fruit growing on sand and Formosa. Ambassador Shahar also promised to give Ha Tinh top priorities, especially in the fields of food preservation technology transfer, desalination and dryland crops, etc.
On the same day, the Ambassador visited some notable places such as Son Duong deep water port, Formosa and the project on high-technology fruit growing at desertificated coastal commune of Thach Van (Thach Ha district).
