Mr. Nguyen Dinh Xung informed Ms. Meirav Eilon Shahar some potential co-operations between Israel and the province in agriculture, industry and services. Accordingly, Thanh Hoa is the 5th largest province in Vietnam, in terms of area, with 250,000 hectares of land devoted to agriculture. The province promotes industrialization and modernization. Nghi  Son Economic Zone with its refinery project attracts US$ 9.3 billion of investment, along with other projects such as Nghi Son thermal power, iron and steel, cement, petrochemical. Regarding tourism, Thanh Hoa's 102 kilometer coastline facilitates tourism. Besides, the province also own Ho Dynasty Citadel, a UNESCO world cultural heritage. Thanh Hoa has convenient transportation system including roads, airways, railways and waterways. Nghi Son deep-water port is a focal point in transport.

Thanh Hoa Chairman would like Israeli Embassy to support to promote technology transfer for drip irrigation, efficient water reuse in agriculture, inform Israeli investors about potentials and strengths of Thanh Hoa province while creating the conditions for businesses in Thanh Hoa to access Israeli market and improving agriculture human resources.

Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Meirav Eilon Shahar thanked the appreciation of Thanh Hoa People's Committee Chairman about people and the nation of Israel. Ms. Shahar confirmed she would promote the province, connect investors, develop industries, high-tech agriculture, and introduce agricultural models to the province. Ms. Meirav Eilon Shahar emphasized her companion with local authorities in international integration, especially in terms of economic, contributing to local economic development.
