    This athletic, romantically tough duet by Israeli dance artist Ohad Naharin is set to familiar folk songs plus selections from The Beggar’s Opera (1728). Premiered in 1989, Passomezzo contains early examples of the elements of Naharin’s style, now globally influential: frank body language, sublime musicality, bold showmanship and aching humanity — all tuned into perfect balance.
