​The Chairman of the Jewish Agency for Israel Isaac Herzog, Cypriot Presidential Commissioner for Humanitarian Issues and Overseas Cypriots Photis Photiou and Greek Deputy Minister for Diaspora Issues Terence Quick held a trilateral meeting on diaspora issues in Nicosia.

The three men agreed on a joint tour of the three countries for a group of diaspora youth to help bring the new generation closer, meet each other and learn about each country’s history and civilisation.

After their meeting, they referred to a new strategy and deepening of their co-operation on diaspora issues. They also agreed on a summit next January in Jerusalem of diaspora leaders.

It was a busy day with successful meetings and an exciting visit to the former British military hospital and the memorial in honor of the Jewish babies born from holocaust survivors detained in the British detention camps in 1946-1948.
