    ​Seventy two years ago, on May 14, 1948, the modern State of Israel was established, but the bond between the Jewish people and their historic homeland dates back over three millenia.

    It is 72 years since the Jewish State was re-established, opening a new, long-awaited era in the life of the Jewish people in their ancestral homeland. 72 years after, Israel has much to take pride in, and will continue to work with its partners to make the world a better place.
