Contribution of art to spread of Holocaust Memory

    ​An event was held on Monday, April 12, 2022, at the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Strovolos, at which Dr Leon Saltiel spoke on the topic of:

    "Art, Memory, Holocaust - The contribution of art to the spread of Holocaust memory"

    Dr Saltiel explained how art gives a new form to the historical narrative and in this case the Holocaust, making it more accessible to the public, illuminating lesser known aspects of it. How it provides a way out for survivors to narrate their experiences and retrieve their memories; how it contributes to the preservation of the historical Memory of the Holocaust.
