Social bike ride in Limassol - "Ride On"

    The social bike ride ​“Ride On” took place today in Limassol, with the participation of over 150 people. The ride took place in the context of a series of events for the campaign “Ride On- Life Without Limits”

    For the first time in cyprus, both experienced and inexperienced bike riders participated, in an effort to explore the joy of riding, together with disabled riders.

    From the Molos Amphitheatre, the starting point of the ride, Ambassador Yael Ravia-Zadok stated:

    “I am particularly proud to be in Limassol today for the “Ride On” Social Bike Ride.

    Together with the Cyprus Cycling Federation, the Cyprus Paraplegics Association and the people of Cyprus, we raise awareness for para-cycling in the Island.

    We owe a big thank you to Israeli para-cyclist Nati Gruberg who showed us that indeed, when there is a will and “a wheel”, there is a way! Nati’s most inspiring message was to “never give up”, which was more clearly reflected in his quote: "Falling down is an accident. Getting up is a choice".

    We would also like to thank the Municipality of Limassol and especially Mayor Mr Nicolaides for his support to this event and for riding with us.”
