On June 20th, 2019, the third seminar on
teacher-training in Holocaust education for Cypriot educators, was completed.
The seminar is organized by Yad
Vashem World Holocaust Center in Jerusalem and the Ministry of Education and
Culture.
Participating educators had the opportunity to get in touch with material suitable for pupils of
different ages, while the program included lectures by academics, pedagogical
workshops and survivors' testimonies.
Through the substantial cooperation developed
in recent years between the Embassy of Israel in Cyprus and the Ministry of
Education and Culture, over 75 educators have attended Holocaust training
seminars in Israel.
