As part of the academic cooperation between the two countries, the Embassy of Israel in Cyprus offers the opportunity to Cypriot citizens to study in Israel on a scholarship. Applications for the granting of three scholarships for the academic year 2016/2017, will be received by the Cyprus State Scholarship Foundation (I.K.Y.K.), for:
(a) post-doctoral and research level
(b) master and doctoral level,
(c) post-graduate programs for foreign students (overseas programs) and
(d) summer language courses at the University of Haifa (1 month).
Either a full or partial scholarship may be granted. Scholarships will be granted only for study in universities and programs approved by the Israeli Council for Higher Education.
