As part of the academic cooperation between the two countries, the Embassy of Israel in Cyprus offers scholarships to Cypriot citizens to study in Israel for the academic year 2022-2023, as follows:

• 1 Scholarship for 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀 Hebrew or Arabic (Ulpan) - 3 weeks in July or August

• 1 Scholarship for one academic year for M.A., Ph.D., Post.doc, Research - maximum 8 months starting October 2022 ending June 2023

No Scholarships are offered for veterinary and medicine studies.

The scholarship can be:

a) Full - includes 50% of the tuition fee of 1 academic year (8 months) (up to 6,000 US Dollars), monthly allowance for 8 months and basic medical insurance.

or

b) Partial - includes a monthly allowance for one academic year and basic health insurance.

c) For the language course the scholarship includes full tuition fees, 3 weeks allowance, boarding in a room for 2 and basic health insurance.

Basic Requirements:

• The applicant should hold a BA or BSc degree (or higher) and have a good record of academic achievement.

• The applicant should be a citizen of the country where he/she applies for the scholarship and be under the age of 35 (at the beginning of the academic year). 

• Proof of English or Hebrew language proficiency. 

• The applicant should meet the academic requirements of the Israeli University to which he/she applies. A scholarship will be granted only after the required Institute approves the acceptance of the candidate.

• The applicant for Language Courses must be before or during the final year for a degree
