President Anastasiades sends condolences to Israel

    Cyprus President, Nicos Anastasiades, sent on Thursday a message of condolences to the President of Israel, Reuven Rivlin, following the terrorist attack in Tel Aviv, reaffirming that "the Republic of Cyprus rejects terrorism in all its forms and calls on all concerned to combine their efforts with the international community in order to combat this scourge and put an end to such crimes."

    “On behalf of the Government and the people of Cyprus, as well as on my own behalf, allow me to convey my sincere condolences following the heinous terrorists attack that struck yesterday Tel Aviv’s Sarona Market, against innocent civilians. In these moments, our thoughts are with the victims’ families and with the Israeli people," Anastasiades said in his message, according to an official press release.
