In his opening remarks Ambassador Revel stressed that Israel-Cyprus cooperation during the Coronavirus pandemic was very dynamic, exactly as it should be between our two nations. One of the main issues of the day after, as the Ambassador mentioned, is how we develop a bridge of innovation and research. “We have an ongoing cooperation with the Deputy Minister for Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, as well as with the Chief Scientist” the Ambassador said, adding that working jointly and bringing Israel and Cyprus ecosystems closer can bring new solutions on a number of issues and economic benefits for both our countries.

She explained how Israeli culture and its approach to parenting and raising children in an environment of uncertainty and messiness, encourages creative thinking, problem-solving, risk-taking, pushing boundaries, overcoming failure, and even challenging authority. “With this disruption-focused mindset, Israel has become the “startup nation” and Israelis have been raising generations of entrepreneurs who are changing the world”, she argued.
