“Culture is the heartbeat of society. It gives us the instruments to listen to the genuine feelings of the different segments of each and every society. It inspires us, while, at the same time, it gives us a kind of stature.”
A series of cultural events in the fields of theater, literature, music and actions for a better society organizes Embassy of Israel in Nicosia from end of March until the end of July in Cyprus.
According to the Israeli Ambassador to Cyprus Michael Harari the aim is getting to know the Israeli society, which is, as stated, a mosaic of people hailing from different parts of the world. These people, noted Mr. Harari, have joined the society of Israel, leaving their own mark on it.
“I am happy to introduce and share with you a rich and fascinate variety of events which will take place in the next few months and will shed light on the enchanting aspects of Israeli society.”
The Israeli Ambassador stressed that the aim was to organize various cultural events which will "shed light" on the "magical faces" of the Israeli society through culture. He also highlighted the extremely positive cooperation between the Embassy and organizations, museums and artists from Cyprus.
