He has thrived in a diversity of roles…starting in reservations at a boutique DMC then, on to a global wholesaler and finally finding his footing in businesses development for a luxury hotel thousands of miles away prior to being recruited as a government representative.  Even before making it official with the Israel Ministry of Tourism, Chad considered his work in international tourism to be an engagement in diplomacy in its purest sense: people to people interactions…sharing, laughing…and even a little negotiation.

He has now worked in an official capacity for the Ministry of Tourism of the State of Israel for nearly a decade, striving to maximize the number of outbound tourists from the Northeast Region of the United States and to promote Israel's hospitality infrastructure. He considers tourism to be by far the most effective, honest way to spread love, support, and passion for this most special destination.  

As a keynote speaker he brings an inspirational spirit, covering important ideas for our times. His conversations with groups are thought provoking, smart and he is a humorous storyteller of travel….Chad believes that it's not enough to just tell a funny anecdote or a joke when facing an audience… A speaker needs to teach something to the audience and move them.

As a Middle East tourism professional for nearly 18 years, Chad Martin has grappled with and frequently overcome security concerns in nearly every context. While we once lived in a world of “safe” places and “dangerous” places, with a changing geopolitical climate and 24/7 news cycle, security concerns seem to be popping up nearly everywhere across the globe. Using both personally derived methods and data, we will explore how to best address and overcome clients’ biggest fears to make successful meetings and experiences possible.
