Tomorrow, Tuesday, May 7th, New Yorkers will have the opportunity to see Union Square like they never have before. What is normally home to farmer's markets and dog runs will be transformed into a showcase of inventions and new technologies that might one day be a part of our everyday lives.

The futuristic exhibit of inventions and cool innovations is all thanks to a group of 15 extremely talented Israeli students, all ages 16-18. Hailing from Israel's "Sci-Tech" schools, these students are setting up what's being called "Street Labs Israel" in the heart of Union Square.

Among the inventions on display is a very nifty application in which someone with food allergies can scan a product, and it lets them know its ingredients contain say, peanuts or nuts. Another great tool that is clearly developed by high schoolers for high schoolers is a software system that automatically summarizes and condenses any long text, potentially a huge time saver for going over a dense textbook chapter at the last minute before a test.

"Street Labs Israel" will be showcasing these inventions and many more, so make sure to stop by Tuesday afternoon and see them for yourself!
