"Open a Door to Israel" is a one of a kind multisensory installation and a joint project of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry for Strategic Affairs and Public Diplomacy.

The international launch will take place on January 21, 2016 at the Vitoriano Museum in Rome, remaining on display until February 11, and will continue to prestigious locations around the globe including France, Poland, Russia, South Korea, Japan, China and the US.

Thousands the world over will travel to witness the unique interactive experience that uses cutting edge technology and creativity designed to invite curiosity, participation and experimental play. The exhibit is meant to let people around the world get a glimpse of Israel and its people, create connections by experiencing, interacting and getting a sense of the values that make up the unique spirit that is Israel.

Israeli values such as the central role of the family, learning, hoping, connecting, expressing, engaging, venturing and making things happen are experienced in each of the 9 interactive doors. Imagine expressing yourself as a DJ at a street party in Jerusalem. Engage with Israelis on the beaches of Tel Aviv and play a virtual game of "Matkot" (racket ball). Join an Israeli classroom and experience the learning process. Take a selfie with an Israeli and walk through history in the footsteps of prophets and kings.

After opening a door the audience is invited to come in, sit down, and watch a multimedia exhibition on a 50 meter  HD screen, using a special robot creating a unique and spectacular visual experience sweeping you into the vibrant, colorful, complex, creative and exciting life in Israel.
