This week, Israel has some very special guests during the Eilat Chamber Music Festival. The festival is one of the most important and respected international classical music events in Israel. The festival brings to Israel every year the best musicians and musical ensembles from all over the world. For the eighth Eilat Chamber Music Festival, the famous Hollywood star John Malkovich (Dangerous Liaisons, Being John Malkovich), will perform for the first time in Israel with the successful musical drama " The Infernal Comedy" in which Malkovich portrays the figure of an Austrian serial killer Jack Unterweger, with the aid of a the Wiener Akademie orchestra and two opera singers – Bernarda Bobro and Claire Meghnagi, at the background.

While this is John Malkovich's first performance in Israel, he visited the country in 2008 as a guest of honor for the Jerusalem Film Festival. 

"The Infernal Comedy – Confessions of a Serial Killer" is a wickedly clever musical, and its performance on Thursday will be streamed on Ynet. Check back here then for a link to the streaming performance.
