FM Liberman departs for Paris, continues talks with FMs

    Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman will meet on Thursday, June 26, 2014 in Paris with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry. Afterwards he will meet with French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius. He will discuss with them the situation following the abduction of the three Israeli boys on June 12, the Palestinian unity government, and developments in the Middle East.

    During the past few days, FM Liberman continued his conversations with foreign ministers throughout the world, and thanked them for their condemnation of the abduction. Speaking to the foreign ministers of Italy, Australia, Ukraine, Lithuania and Cyprus, FM Liberman noted that their stand is important in the world's war against terrorism, because radical Islamic terror does not distinguish between Western states. Its goal of kidnapping the teenagers in Gush Etzion is identical to its objective in terror attacks carried out in New York, London, Madrid, Brussels, and elsewhere.

    FM Liberman noted that there can be no justification for the cruel abduction of young boys, and everyone must clearly condemn those to adopt these methods and the organizations that support them.
