The Embassy of Israel is proud to introduce the Israeli film “An Israeli Love Story” directed by the celebrated Director Dan Wolman
The film will be screened on Saturday 25th March at 06.30 P.M. at the India Habitat Centre. Following the screening, Mr. Wolman will hold a discussion with the audience.
Leading up to the festival, Ambassador Daniel Carmon stated: “I am proud to see that Israel's cinematography is represented in the first Habitat International Film Festival, contributing the cultural dialogue in the cinematic scene in India. While Bollywood is well known in Israel and already brings our people closer together, we are delighted that India too shall enjoy the unique creations of Israeli cinema.”
Mr. Dan Wolman is a veteran Israeli filmmaker whose films have been presented in Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Shanghai, Goa, Moscow and many other film festivals, winning awards and prizes the world over. Dan received a “Life time achievement award” at Jerusalem International film festival and "The Silver Hugo" award at the Chicago International Film Festival for "Unique vision and innovative work". His films cover a big range from the very commercial youth comedy "Lemon Popsical" to the very personal "The Distance" and "Foreign Sister" both of which won the Volgin Award for "Best film" at the Jerusalem International Film Festival.
