Over 30 delegates are going to take part in ‘India-Israel Innovation Mixer’, a unique networking event in Israel, on Thursday, 6th of September, 2018. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Israeli Innovation Authority is hosting them. The event celebrates the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem of the two nations.

The participants to the event include officials of Invest India, young leaders in the field of innovation and officials from 8 Indian states- Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Assam and Chhattisgarh. They will also be joined by the members of Innovation & Education Discover Israel Delegation from India.

Ahead of the event, Ms. Maya Kadosh, Chargé d’ Affaires of the Embassy of Israel, said, “Innovation has become one of the main pillars of the growing relations between India and Israel. The people to people connection is the foundation for cooperation in every field, and therefore it is important to have Indians and Israelis come in contact as much as possible. The event, India-Israel Innovation Mixer, is the highlight of a one-week innovation program that aims to bring together the best innovative minds in both the countries, and let them work with ‘out of the box’ ideas.”

Ms. Maya Kadosh further adds, “There is a huge desire in Israel to connect with India. Indians and Israelis often think alike, never taking no for an answer and always approaching problems with ‘it can be done’ approach. Together with the wonderful leadership of Invest India we have managed to create many bridges of innovation between our two nations. Now it is time for the entrepreneurs to cross them and start working together.”
