India's NowFloats to compete in Start Tel Aviv

    NEW DELHI: Indian technology start-up NowFloats will be the country's entry to the 'Start Tel Aviv Competition' in Israel in October this year.
     
    Tel Aviv is a leading innovation hub with local ecosystem of world class tech talents, dozens of leading multinationals and hundreds of tech star startups.
     
    During the five-day global competition, startups from different countries will compete for an opportunity to learn from the startup ecosystem in Tel Aviv.
     
    The five start-ups that participated at the Delhi Finals, were SilverPush, TAO Education, Fairassets Technologies, Heuristics Info Systems and NowFloats.
     
    Hyderabad-based NowFloats focuses on the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) through a system where these entities can create an online presence through just a SMS.
     
    The start-up claims to create a website after receiving four SMSs from the interested party within 13 minutes.
     
    The winner will get a paid trip to the competition and will be joined by the 13 startup founders winners from around the world.
     
    The participating countries are - UK, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, France, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Latvia, India, China, Korea, Mexico and Colombia
    The contestants will also be joined by local Israeli entrepreneurs to participate in the competition during the DLD Festival week.
     
    NowFloats will have an opportunity to meet companies, techies, start-ups, designers, artists, scientists, investors, and cultural drivers from Israel and abroad.
     
    Israel Foreign Ministry had tied up with TiE Delhi - NCR to find the Indian entry for the competition in Israel.
