Ben Gurion International Airport was once again ranked in the top 10 best international airports as part of the “World’s Best Awards” survey by Travel+Leisure readers. This year BGIA reached the 8th spot, ahead of Amsterdam’s Schiphol and Abu Dhabi’s international airport.
The readers rated international airports (those located outside of the United States) on the criteria of access, check-in/security, restaurants/bars, shopping, and design.
In 2016 alone, around 18 million passengers passed through the terminals of Ben-Gurion Airport.
