Israeli embassies abroad provide Israeli citizens and/or Israeli residents staying overseas with certain services required by the provisions of the Population Registration Law.
You can apply to our consular to have your information updated or to receive documentation regarding your existing status held by the ministry (including birth certificates, death certificates, citizenship, or a record of entries and exits from Israel). By law, Israeli citizens must report any change in their marital status or the birth of a new child within 30 days of the event.
Following the submission of an application, certificates will be processed by Israel (this takes between four and eight weeks). Inquiries regarding the progress of your application to our consular section should only be made four weeks after applying
