The Consulate General of Israel to the Southwest United States, which represents multiple-states including Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arkansas, recently hired Karen Naumann as Press Officer, announced Ambassador Meir Shlomo, Consular General.
“In this role, Naumann will contribute to our strategic communication efforts, specifically in building mutually beneficial relationships with the media, organizations, and communities in our region,” Shlomo stated. “We are pleased that she will bring nearly 20 years of communication expertise to the Consulate.”
The New Orleans native is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and Political Science.
