The Israel Consulate of Israel to the Southwest United States celebrated Israel's 67th Anniversary as a nation.
The concert celebration featured Maya Avraham from Israel, who performed songs in Hebrew and English to the crowd at the Kaplan Theatre inside the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center.
Consul General Meir Shlomo also made remarks at the ceremony, which was his last public speech as Consul General to the Southwest United States.
