    ​Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today (Sunday, 18 October 2015), in Jerusalem, met with United States Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Joseph F. Dunford Jr.

    The meeting was also attended by IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Gadi Eizenkot, National Security Adviser Yossi Cohen, and the Prime Minister's Military Secretary, Brig.-Gen. Eliezer Toledano.
     
    Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dunford took office earlier this month, and Israel is the first country he is visiting. The two men discussed strategic cooperation between the two countries and the strategic challenges that we face. The day commenced with a joint exercise in southern Israel between the IDF and the US military.
