Israeli Police arrest suspects in assault of Eritrean during Beersheba terror attack

    On October 21, 2015, Israeli police arrested four suspects involved in the assault on 18 October of an Eritrean man during the terrorist attack in Beersheba’s central bus station. More arrests will be made as the investigation continues. The four men are not suspected of killing the man, who was misidentified as the terrorist and shot by a security guard. He died as a result of the gunshot wounds.

    The day after receiving the results of the autopsy and after consultation with the prosecutor's office, Israeli police arrested the suspects that were identified by the Central Unit investigators and on 22 October all the suspects will be brought before the court in Beersheba. The decision was made in coordination with the South District Prosecutor's Office.
