    Please note: The Consul may request additional documents on the appointment day.

     

    1      Yeshiva students who are 18 years old and older must contact the Yeshiva directly to start a process of an entry permit

    2     Students for academic institution in all ages (follow instructions on option 3 "yeshiva students who are below the age of 18")

     3     Yeshiva students who are below the age of 18 must apply for a student visa and an entry permit through the consulate, with a scheduled appointment, only once obtaining all the documents in the "Required Documents to Apply for a Student Visa - A/2 visa" section in this page and the following documents in addition:

    ·      Acceptance letter from the academic institution/yeshiva stating a starting date of frontal studies

    ·      A letter from the academic institution/yeshiva declaring the institution commits to keep the all the restrictions and regulations demanded by the Ministry of Health in Israel during the studies

    ·      Conformation letter given to the academic institution/yeshiva by the Ministry of health

    ·      Both parents must attend to the appointment and give their written consent for the minor to travel to Israel for school purposes

    How to Apply​

    Required Documents to Apply for a Student Visa - A/2 visa

    All documents must be printed and served on the day of the appointment.
    Minors must present a birth certificate certified with an apostille seal

     

    This visa is granted to those who want to study in Israel in elementary and high schools, academic institutions, yeshivas and youth institutions of the Jewish Agency. The visa is valid for up to one year and for multiple entrances and exits. Recipients of this visa are not permitted to work in Israel.

     

    Applicant must obtain and present the following documents:

    ·      Application for a visa; filled out digitally, printed, and signed by hand.

    ·      Valid passport; Please note passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your intended return date, provided that its issuing country has a consulate/embassy in the State of Israel. If there is no consulate/embassy in Israel, the passport must be valid for the entire period of studies and another six months beyond that time status. In the US; In the case of a Green Card, the applicant must add it to the presented documents.

    ·      2 passport pictures (2x2inch), on a white background, without glasses/hats, and the hair must be behind the ears.

    ·      Certificate of acceptance for study at a recognized educational institution in Israel. The letter should state the student's full name, the name of the program/school, and the length of the program.

    ·      Bank statements and proof of financial capability; 3 recent bank statements or an Institution fee/a letter from the bank stating the account balance. Suppose the student is funded financially by a third party or has a scholarship; the student will need to provide the following: 3 recent bank statements of the third party and/or an official letter from the Institution confirming the scholarship.

    ·      A flight ticket/reservation- The flight ticket/reservation must state the name of the applicant.

    ·      Birth certificate certified with an apostille seal.

    ·      Copy of parents' passports (both of them).

    ·      International health insurance that also covers COVID-19

    ·      Proof of residence in Israel, In a rented apartment / RBNB / dormitories, etc.

     

    Please note: A minor will be given a visa only with the written consent of both parents or their legal guardian. The presence of both parents is required at the consulate. However, suppose one of the parents is unable to attend. In that case, their written consent will need to be signed in front of a notary public and verified utilizing "Apostille" or the equivalent verification available in the parent's country of residence. The original and authenticated consent will need to be presented at the consulate by the visa applicant, authenticated and certified.

     

    Required Documents to Apply for a Visitor's Visa - B/2 visa

    All documents must be printed and served on the day of the appointment

    A B/2 visa is granted to a person who wishes to stay in Israel for only a short time (for a visit, tourism or a business meeting). A person who enters Israel on a B/2 visa is not allowed to work in the State of Israel. A B/2 visa is valid for up to three months from the date of issue. The duration of the stay in Israel will be determined by the Border Police. A visitor who wishes to extend his visit may submit an application at one of the regional population administration offices of the Ministry of the Interior.
    * Please note, holders of US passport are exempt from tourist visa to Israel (B/2)

    Applicant must obtain and present the following documents:      

    ·    ​Visa application form.

    ·      Valid national passport. Please note: Passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your intended return date, provided that its issuing country has a consulate/embassy in the State of Israel. If there is no consulate/embassy in Israel, the passport must be valid for the entire period of studies and another six months beyond that time.

    ·      Hotel reservations.

    ·      Latest bank statements (3 months).

    ·      Flight ticket. The flight ticket/reservation must state the name of the applicant.

    ·      Valid US visa or residence card. Status in the US- In case of a Green Card, applicant must add it to the presented documents  

    ·      Letter of employment Business owners need to show a proof of business).

    ·      International health insurance that also covers COVID-19

    ·      2 passport pictures (2x2inch), on a white background, without glasses/hats, and the hair must be behind the ears.

     

    Since the fee is collected for handling the application, it will not be refunded to the applicant if the visa is not issued for any reason

     ​

    Required Documents to Apply for a Work Visa - B/1 visa

    This visa is for a person whose stay in Israel is approved for a limited period of time for the purpose of work. This visa is given to experts and artists, among others, and is granted solely with the approval of the Ministry of Interior.
    The fee is paid by the applicant when the application is submitted to one of the population administration offices of the Ministry of Interior. Upon receipt of approval from the Ministry of Interior, 
    the consulate will issue the B/1 Work visa after interviewing the applicant and presenting the following documents:

    ·      Application for a visa- filled out digitally, printed and signed by hand. Download here.

    ·      A verified certificate of good conduct.

    ·      Certification of medical examinations performed in clinics or hospitals recognized by the consulate (the certification must cover, inter alia, normal results in tests for tuberculosis, hepatitis and AIDS) and the results of blood tests.

    ·      Birth Certificate sealed with apostille.

    ·      A declaration of the taking of a fingerprint (the State of Israel has begun to take a fingerprint from foreign workers who enter the country to work) and a photograph

    ·      2 passport pictures (2x2inch), on a white background, without glasses/hats, and the hair must be behind the ears.


    The validity of the B/1 work visa will be in accordance with Ministry of Interior guidelines. The worker must enter Israel within the period of time specified in the visa and stay in the country as specified in the visa. A person who receives such a visa may apply to one of the population administration offices of the Ministry of Interior to extend the visa.

     

    Required Documents for a Clergy visa A/3

    This visa is granted to clergymen for the purpose of fulfilling their clerical duties among their religious communities in Israel, pursuant to the invitation of a recognized religious institution in Israel. A clergyman who goes to Israel for a visit and requires an entry visa will receive the regular B/2 visa.

     

    Only the Ministry of the Interior has the authority to grant an A/3 visa. The application should be submitted in Israel by the religious institution that is inviting the clergyman. The mission will only issue the visa with the prior approval of the Ministry of the Interior. The validity of the visa will be in accordance with Ministry of Interior guidelines, with the option of renewal only in Israel.

    If the visa is approved by the Ministry of the Interior, the visa will be issued by the mission upon provision of the following:

    ·      Valid national passport. Please note: Passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your intended return date, provided that its issuing country has a consulate/embassy in the State of Israel. If there is no consulate/embassy in Israel, the passport must be valid for the entire period of studies and another six months beyond that time.

    Process Duration

    Process takes up to 7 business days from the day of applying. Applicant will be given the option to receive the passport by FedEx. Please note, FedEx is signature required. For FedEx, please fill out the application here and print.
